Finding My Rhythm

Before I ever led strategy sessions or helped businesses get into their groove, I was the man behind the curtains in the DJ booth. For years, my world was music, reading crowds, creating energy, and knowing exactly when to turn up. Every night had a moment we called “peak hour.”

That’s when everything came together. The room was alive. The beats, the lights, the people, all moving as one. You had everyone’s full attention and you can’t hold anything back. Your creativity was at its peak, you pulled out your best mixes and put out max effort. You were in the zone.

That’s what Peak Hour Consulting is about.

What “Peak Hour” Means for Business

As a DJ, peak hour is that magic point when practice meets energy. In business, it’s the moment when strategy meets execution. It’s when your systems, team, and opportunities all align.

My consulting philosophy is built on that same idea. Whether you’re launching a new product, scaling your operations, or redefining your brand, you get the same level of intensity, creativity, and effort that I brought to every DJ set.

I don’t believe in half hearted attempts. My clients get peak-hour effort, that moment of full attention, flow, and focus where everything clicks, all the time.

Designing the Vision — The Story Behind the Logo

When I created the Peak Hour logo, I wanted it to combine elements of my past experiences.

The design blends influences of the cities I’ve lived and grown to love and my love of music. The peaks represent the peak in a soundwave, the peaks of mountains, and outline of big city skylines (Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Twin Cities).

The color palette draws from the sunset (we can pretend it’s over the city, ocean, or desert). It doesn’t represent anything. I was on my way back from a business trip, driving back from CO into UT. I made a stop in Moab and caught one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. Can’t help but feel like I’m at one with nature when I look back at that photo.
